The short and direct answer is simple: I’m running because many people have asked me to, because I care, and because I will bring common-sense decision-making to the Budget Committee.
Many residents have encouraged me to run, expressing their support if I do. Others have challenged me by saying, "If you have concerns about how things are done, why don’t you step up and run?"—so I am.
I’ve heard from many stakeholders in town who feel:
I share these same concerns. It’s time to make a clear distinction between wants and needs, recognizing that while not everyone will get exactly what they want, we can find compromises that serve the community within our existing means to ensure long-term sustainability.
I will bridge this gap and be a strong voice to ensure that all stakeholders feel heard and represented.
As a property manager overseeing various types of properties, I bring valuable experience in maintenance and expenditures. Additionally, as an eager learner, I am always seeking ways to expand my knowledge—not only in my area of expertise but also in all aspects that impact the town’s budget.
Loren and his wife Holly moved to Tooky in 2008 but his ties to Hopkinton go back generations. He is a proud parent of four children who attend the Hopkinton schools. Holly is also a dedicated member of the school staff.
After 13 years of running my own landscape maintenance business, I was offered a position as Property Manager at Davis and Towle Insurance Group, one of my longtime clients. In this role, I oversee construction and renovation projects, including roofing, pavement, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, generator maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, snow removal, fire and safety inspections, lease agreements, and more.
Beyond my professional experience, I have been deeply engaged in our community over the past four years, attending nearly every school board meeting, as well as numerous select board and budget committee meetings. I take pride in my ability to personally connect with residents, actively listen to their concerns, and truly understand their perspectives. You’ll often find me lending a hand to neighbors, reflecting my commitment to fostering a strong and supportive community.
My dedication to service extends to various volunteer roles, including:
These experiences highlight my passion for preserving our local history, supporting community initiatives, and ensuring that residents feel heard and valued.
